近日宏福苑事件牽動社會各界的關注，許多災民面臨生活上的困擾與法律上的疑問。如月法律顧問亦會履行社會企業責任，「取之社會，用之社會」。本法律顧問團隊希望在這個不容易的時刻，提供一些實際的協助。我們的法律支援主要從以下四大方面協助受影響居民。

1. 協助災民了解自身的法律權利

包括租客、業主在火警後的法定權利、受損財產的索償途徑、喪失文件（身份證、契約等）的法律影響與補辦方式、與保險公司溝通的法律框架。

2. 協助災民進行保險相關程序

檢視住宅／財物／第三者責任保險的保障範圍、協助整理索償文件和證據、協助準備及提出民事索償。

3. 如果火災涉及可能的責任方

例如：承辦商、維修公司、物業管理、樓宇裝置缺陷等），我們可以協助：初步責任評估、代為發出索償信。

4. 處理與政府部門的相關程序

我們協助向社會福利署、房屋署提交文件，以及釐清臨時安置、輪候/調遷等安排的法律程序

The recent incident at Wang Fuk Court has drawn widespread public concern. Many affected residents are now facing significant disruptions to their daily lives and have numerous legal questions. As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility — “giving back to the community” — Lunarius Legal aims to provide practical assistance during this difficult time.Our legal support team is offering help to affected residents in four key areas:

If the fire involves a potentially responsible party (such as contractors, repair companies, property management, or building defects), we can assist with preliminary liability assessment and issuing letters of demand on behalf of affected residents.

4. Government Procedures

We help residents navigate procedures involving government departments, including submissions to the Social Welfare Department and Housing Department, and clarifying the legal processes for temporary accommodation, allocation, or transfer arrangements.
